Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Quote requests and privacy questions
Notice added October 1, 2026. The Texas solar quote form collects ZIP code, property type, electric-bill range, roof type, installation timeline, name, email and address. Its configured email action sends the submission to the Living With Solar team inbox so the team can respond to a request about solar options. Form processing and delivery also involve the website and its email services. The form uses Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection; see Google’s privacy policy.
Living With Solar offers quote referrals and may receive referral compensation. If you want to know which installer or other recipient would receive your details, ask us at info@livingwithsolar.com before submitting. This notice describes the Texas form’s fields and configured delivery; it does not establish the recipients or practices of every other form on this site.
For questions about a submitted request, recipient information, access, correction, deletion, or stopping further contact from our team, email info@livingwithsolar.com with the subject “Privacy request.” Include the email address used and the page where you submitted the request. Please do not email identity documents or financial account details. We may need to verify that a request concerns your information. If another provider has separately received your details, contact that provider about its own records and communications.
